These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of northernpeps.shop (the "Site") and any purchase made through it. By accessing the Site, verifying your eligibility at the entry gate, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility & Research-Use Only

You must be at least 19 years of age to access the Site or place an order. All products sold by Northernpeps are supplied strictly FOR LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY and are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or medical condition. By using the Site, you represent that you meet the age requirement, that you are purchasing on behalf of a legitimate research purpose, and that you will not use any product for human or animal consumption or any medical, therapeutic, cosmetic, or household use.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@northernpeps.shop if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Orders & Pricing

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or products believed to be intended for a use outside our research-use-only terms. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice; the price charged is the price in effect at the time your order is placed.

4. Shipping & Returns

5. Prohibited Uses

  • Using any product for human or animal consumption, or for any medical, veterinary, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, or household purpose
  • Misrepresenting your identity, age, or research affiliation to gain access to the Site or complete a purchase
  • Reselling products in a manner inconsistent with applicable law or without appropriate authorization
  • Using the Site to violate any applicable federal, provincial, or local law or regulation
  • Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, product descriptions, and the Site's design — is the property of Northernpeps or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.

7. Certificates of Analysis & Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions and Certificates of Analysis are accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all information on the Site is complete, reliable, or error-free. It is the customer's responsibility to independently verify a product's suitability for their specific research application.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Northernpeps does not warrant that products are fit for any particular purpose beyond in-vitro laboratory research.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northernpeps and its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any product purchased through it, including any use of a product inconsistent with its research-use-only purpose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Northernpeps harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or any product, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Northernpeps operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that province.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
